I have a background in sports and athletics that goes back to my high school days. I played basketball in college at the University at Arkansas at Monticello where I obtained a BS in education with emphasis on physical education. After college I continued my athletics with rugby and softball. Fitness and exercise have always been a part of my life. I found Crossfit in 2008 while in the training division at Little Rock Fire Department where I’m a Captain/Firefighter. I was trying to implement a fitness program into our recruit training program. This is when I fell in love with Crossfit. I found Wellness Revolution when they first opened the doors and have been here from the beginning.
I started coaching at Wellness Revolution in 2015, I wanted to give back what I was able to learn from my coaches. I believe the environment at Wellness Revolution has everything it takes to make healthy, fit, strong, and confident individual. I want everyone in my class to walk out a little better than they walked in. My aim is to promote each individual athlete to develop their talent, self-image, and walk out with a feeling of accomplishment. I will obtain this through reassurance and motivation along with teaching them the fundamentals and skills to be successful.
